Each piece is coated in an elegant gunmetal colour using PVD, an eco-friendly technology that is increasingly replacing finishes such as paint and chrome. Short for Physical Vapour Deposition, this technique vaporises metals in a vacuum chamber where they are condensed and transformed into a thin, sleek and uniform colour finish that is more resistant than traditional coatings.
Attention to detail is, as always, an intrinsic element of a Salvatori product and Spaghetti is no different, making every mixer and tap unique. The delicate fluted profile that surrounds each handle is created with a level of precision usually found in high-end watchmaking, while the choice of a disc in the same stone as the wall tiles ensures a wonderful harmonious effect. For those who prefer an all-metal look, the disc can be provided in the same finish as the rest of the fitting.
A number of pieces feature an incredibly slim cartridge with a diameter of just 20 mm, while others draw on “easy fit” technology which essentially allows the piece to be installed flush with the surface for a pared-back, discreet look.
