Teulat is a Spanish brand that produces
contemporary furniture. Located in Valencia and with more than 30 years of experience in the furniture sector, the Teulat project was born with the aim of conveying the Mediterranean lifestyle and its essence: a lively and contemporary personality with deep roots in customs and tradition. Furniture designed with the aim of creating both comfortable and functional spaces:
sideboards to preserve most beloved books,
chest of drawers to keep precious secrets,
chairs to savour the sweetest meals,
armchairs and
easy chairs to enjoy everlasting conversations.
One of the primary issues that the human being had to solve, is seeking a shelter to protect himself under a roof and a defined space for living. Through this single act emerged the phenomenon of roofing, ensuring humans to move further in the run up to “real housing” approach. From then on, a roof is not just perceived as a frame, but rather as an essential element for any intimate and personal space to be considered as such. This is the idea behind Teulat, which means “roof” in Valencian – a desire to promote personal and intimate environments powered by design.
Teulat is the second generation of a family-run business highly committed to find its own place in a sector they deeply dominate and respect as a result of many years of hard work and dedication. Teulat's objective is simple: it is to bring design to the reach of everyone.
