Prostoria is a furniture design company with a manufacturing culture. Its research studio has been the playground for the evolution from artisanship to a highly industrialized production. In Prostoria, we believe that design is the main driver for creating furniture whose quality remains paramount. Thanks to those values, our collection comprises design icons such as the Polygon easy chair and the Revolve transformable sofa. Guided by explorative spirit, Prostoria has revamped the essential elements of contemporary interiors, from armchairs, poufs and modular sofas and sofa beds to bar stools, chairs and tables of all sizes.

Comfort as an outcome of innovation of the product's function

As a manufacturer of the upholstered furniture, Prostoria also explores different levels of comfort. Sofa Absent and Kontrapunkt recliner are examples of the current culmination of Prostoria’s knowledge, research-based design and meticulous craftsmanship. For us, the quest has been and still is to produce furniture that feels like comfort come to life – comfort as an outcome of innovation of the product's function and its refined form. Our team of designers, engineers and craftsmen continue to perfect innovative product solutions and their detailed execution. For us, the whole process is a matter of honesty and taking pride in our work and the heritage we leave behind.

Attention to materials and local cooperatives

In the manufacturing process, we predominantly use local materials, especially solid wood. In order to provide control over the quality of products, Prostoria has integrated all the segments of the furniture production in its factory – R&D, sewing, state-of-the-art carpentry and manufacturing of metal components.
