Designed by Belgian designers Muller Van Severen, the Colour Cabinet collection is a series of floor standing and wall-hanging cabinets that highlight the contradictory interplay between clean, minimalist design with the vibrance and originality of colour.‎ With functionality as a starting point, the designers focus on the use of materials to explore contrasts and similarities in the materials and colours used, showcasing the materials’ natural beauty in essential furniture items.‎ The cabinet body is crafted in organically dyed Valchromat – a unique kind of robust MDF material that is FSC-certified, with the supporting frame made in durable steel.‎ The Colour Cabinets are available in a wide range of different variants and sizes, in both mono- and multi-colour options – from a single wall cupboard to a low media storage unit to a multi-shelf cabinet with sliding glass doors.‎ Its versatile design and numerous options make it suitable for a wide variety of storage and display uses in many different private and public contexts.‎
