L&L Luce&Light was born with LED technology and an ambitious idea: to produce quality lighting fixtures at the service of exterior and interior architecture. Since then, the company has created and sold versatile collections all over the world that are carefully studied in every detail and designed to last. And it has never stopped investing in research and development to improve product performance, extend their life cycle, increase their resistance in the harshest conditions, and reduce their environmental impact.
L&L Luce&Light products
The minimal lines of L&L design are combined with cutting-edge technical engineering to deliver precise, comfortable architectural illumination: lighting solutions that add value to the architectural project. Where there are specific needs, the brand develops custom products with equally high performance levels. Luce&Light's products help to raise the quality of architectural lighting, with an increasingly attentive and responsible eye also on the urban and natural context. All L&L Luce&Light lighting fixtures are designed and produced at the Vicenza headquarters, roughly 6000 m2 powered by solar energy, thanks to a photovoltaic system that avoids annual emissions of 130 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere, saving 110 tonnes of coal a year.
L&L Luce&Light: the in-house laboratories
The L&L mechanical and electronic production cycle allows the high quality level of its products to be maintained. The company has always worked with the conviction that the long-term reliability of lighting solutions is the first and foremost way to avoid wasting resources. For this reason, technical design is concentrated not only on studying lighting performance, but also on carefully selecting the LEDs and raw materials of the products: indispensable factors in ensuring their high quality and durability. Furthermore, inside the L&L laboratories, all lighting fixtures in the development phase are subjected to scrupulous photometric, mechanical, thermal and resistance tests. From the outset, wherever possible, the company has chosen local Veneto and Italian suppliers, in order to have greater control over quality and a reduction in emissions generated by transport. This is combined with an in-house workshop that machines steel and aluminium. The assembly phase is not underestimated either, where over the years the company has developed specific expertise in two key steps for product durability: painting and silicone sealing. Lastly, before each shipment, all lighting fixtures are tested and approved with EoL (End of Line) testing, with function tests and power-consumption parameter checks.
