IKONO is a German company based in Paderborn, specializing mainly in the lounge,
contract and Ho.re.ca. sectors. Its journey, which began in 2016, is distinguished by a strong focus on modularity, through the design of a
furniture system that integrates components from mechanical engineering, suitable for both indoor and
outdoor spaces. Versatile and modular
sofas, armchairs, and seating systems make it possible to create tailor-made solutions for every need. Today, with the increasing fusion of indoor and outdoor environments, reception areas must meet changing requirements and require furniture that expresses a clear individuality. It is in this context that IKONO's efforts are placed, through an approach that extends to all aspects of design and production, accompanied by a firm belief in quality, functionality and aesthetics. IKONO responds to this challenge with a
flexible furniture system that can be spontaneously reorganized and adapted to the needs of the moment. The result is a line of precise and creative products made with a deep passion for innovation.
IKONO systems: modular furniture for outdoor, office and contract use
Through its three multifaceted collections-Lounge, Gastro and Office-IKONO offers a wide range of combinable modules that result in versatile systems suitable for every area of use, from refined spa and pool areas to cutting-edge restaurants to innovative work environments. The
Lounge system represents a new paradigm in the concept of modular furniture. The collection's modules offer a unique blend of independence and adaptability, thanks to their ability to transform spaces into oases of relaxation. Featuring custom tables at armrest height and an ergonomic seat height of 44 cm, the Lounge collection design is distinguished by its triangle backrest, an innovation found in the
Daybed and
Relax Lounger products. Ideal locations for Lounge furniture range from terraces to luxurious pool and spa areas to sophisticated hotel lobbies and any other space where hospitality is paramount. The
Gastro collection is distinguished by its extraordinary modularity and flexibility. This versatile system can be seamlessly integrated into both restaurant interiors and exteriors, opening the door to a wide range of possibilities. With Gastro, spaces can be easily transformed and adapted, overcoming traditional wall-fixed units and simplifying complex retrofitting. The
Office modular system, developed in collaboration with sister company Moduvers, is inspired by the dynamism of the New York office, moving away from outdated concepts of rigid spaces and partitions. The goal is to create agile and stimulating work environments that foster creativity and facilitate collaboration among employees. The Office system offers a modular design that addresses all these needs, allowing for complete customization to meet the demands of today's working world.
IKONO's modularity principle
IKONO's modular system offers ample freedom and flexibility, with more than 150 modules, a wide range of colors, and a full selection of indoor and outdoor fabrics, including fire retardant upholstery. Designed for spaces such as entrances, reception areas, terraces, pool areas, spas and restaurants, all modules are designed, developed and manufactured in-house at the company's Paderborn headquarters, thus ensuring total quality control. The central element of each IKONO module is the sturdy aluminum frame, designed with specially developed and patented profiles to ensure an unprecedented level of quality. The modules are connected by brackets that provide stability and facilitate re-insertion to create new configurations at any time, without the need for additional tools. In addition, the different coverings can be easily attached to the aluminum profiles through an integrated fastening system, thus allowing, a wide choice of materials and quick customization of the modules. With IKONO, functionality and aesthetics blend harmoniously, offering versatile, high-quality solutions for an increasingly wide and diverse range of environments and situations.
