Goman 1999 -2007: bathroom furnishings for disabled people
It was 1999 when a new bathroom furniture idea was born for the disabled: on May 17 the Goman brand was registered, by the current partners of the Gover company, already experts in the sector. From the very beginning Goman based its operations on quality and innovation, immediately suggesting, in a sector of hospitalized white only, Color as a distinctive element with the aim of combining aesthetics and functionality and bringing "a ray of light for those in the shadow ". After a few years of exponential growth, in 2007, refusing to relocate abroad and believing exclusively in the strength of "100% Made in Italy", it expands its factories and continues the research and development of new forms, involving, over time, architects and designers to work closely with the internal R&D department. The products are designed and manufactured according to the idea and belief that there is a "bathroom", a place of relaxation and well-being.
Goman 2009: 10 years of 'Design For All'
It is 2009 when Goman celebrates the first 10 years of activity, presenting the new and innovative Flight Washbasin, a product beyond any canon until then known in bathroom furnishings. Indeed Flight is a technical and design washbasin, unique in its kind that has opened new horizons to the planning of the sanitary sector. Flight, with its soft and sinuous lines, overcomes, as in flight, the aesthetic barriers resulting from a frequently misinterpreted legislation, opening up a new concept of aesthetics for the bathroom furniture sector for the disabled: Design For All. The value of Flight has been recognized immediately by authoritative and international design institutions, such as the iF product design Award, Designpreis Deutschland, Wt award, ADI design index; Premio de diseño Habana, selection for the 23rd Compasso d'Oro Award.
Goman 2019 - TODAY: the sink for everyone is born
Prime basin was born from the desire of being able to use a countertop basin even in safety bathroom environments, respecting the regulations in force and allowing a use that was impossible in the past. Goman is the first Company that thought to create a countertop basin for All. This is the reason why the association design for All Italia recognized the elements of innovation by assigning the prestigious DfA Gold brand. By entering the ADI Index 20190 selection it contributes to the Compasso d'Oro 2020.
