Exteta is an Italian brand specializing in the design and production of high-end indoor and outdoor furniture. Founded as a start-up in 2006 in the heart of the historic Brianza design district, today it ranks among the excellences of Made in Italy and is a reference point for customized furniture in the residential and contract sectors. This is thanks to the winning philosophy that has accompanied the brand's evolution since its inception, a mix of innovation and traditional craftsmanship. Furniture with a contemporary mood that crosses the barriers between indoors and outdoors, expanding the company's initial core business, focused on outdoor furniture, to interiors. The careful and rigorous choice of fine materials emphasizes craftsmanship in the making of each piece, while innovative technologies ensure strength and durability. Exteta focuses especially on mahogany, choosing the Sapelli variety for its furniture, on the finest leathers, such as grain, marble and natural stone. In addition to collaborating with reputed contemporary designers, such as Paola Navone, Massimo Castagna, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, Exteta has made special reissues of pieces signed by great masters as Gae Aulenti or Franco Albini. The company boasts prestigious collaborations, such as those with Loro Piana and Riva Yacht, or designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, and today Exteta products furnish prestigious hotels and resorts around the world.
Exteta outdoor seating, sophisticated design and technology
Garden chairs in the Exteta catalog combine the most innovative technologies, guaranteeing intensive use in even extreme outdoor environments, with refined design. The Caprera collection, designed by Massimo Castagna, includes a modular seating system composed of real elements, such as poufs and islands, corner pieces, backrests, which can be moved or rotated, declined in various sizes. The seats rest on a mahogany frame to which practical arm-trays, also in mahogany, can be attached. Of the same tenor is the Vieste collection, again by Massimo Castagna, in which the Vieste Armchair stands out, with a vaguely vintage flavor, played on the contrast between the rounded mahogany frame, inspired by boat oars, and the upholstery fabric embellished with embroidered details. Ludovica + Roberto Palomba sign the Montecarlo collection, which includes a series of chaise longues characterized by square and generous volumes. Designed by Paola Navone, the Moonlight collection features a series of seats with sculptural and original shapes. The Moonlight Sofa allows endless configurations, thanks to the various modules with or without armrests and asymmetrical elements. The Moonlight Soft Chair is distinguished by its originality, with its very light aluminum frame completely covered with abundant upholstery covered in fabric. The folding chair LPIDC01 - FOLDING DIRECTOR'S CHAIR, from the LORO PIANA INTERIORS THE DELIGHT CHAIRS BY EXTETA collection, created by Paola Navone exclusively for the Loro Piana brand, expresses the summit of elegance. The rounded mahogany frame, which develops into a particularly refined shape, is combined with the unmistakable fabrics of the Vercelli-based brand.
Exteta tables, side tables, outdoor lamps, aesthetics and functionality
Alongside the beautiful seating, Exteta offers a series of tables, side tables and lamps to complete the all-around decor. The LPIDC06 - TABLE, LORO PIANA INTERIORS THE DELIGHT CHAIRS BY EXTETA, is part of the collection designed by Paola Navone for Loro piana. As in the seating, we find the extraordinary mahogany structure, elegant in its simplicity, juxtaposed with a marble top. From the collaboration with designer Simon Porte Jacquemus comes Locus Solus, a re-edition of the iconic collection designed by Gae Aulenti in 1964. The LOCUS SOLUS TABLE, JACQUEMUS + EXTETA SPECIAL RE-EDITION. Pop lines unfold in a weave of stainless steel tubing painted in the unique creamy white shade. Seating completes the collection, including the Locus Solus Armchair, with its unmistakable sinuous shapes, dressed in the French brand's fabrics. The 10TH collection designed by Massimo Castagna includes the iconic 10TH Star coffee tables, in which lightweight burnished brass tubulars play with unusual angles and unexpected joints to form a graphic and eye-catching whole. The table is also declined in a lacquered 10TH Star version, and is also available with marble, natural stone, and wood tops. The collection also includes the 10TH Prato Fiorito Light lamps, a sculptural composition formed by a rectangular base in polished burnished brass from which thin stems of different heights sprout, at the top of which are placed white polycarbonate spheres.
