Ettomio is a young Italian manufacturer of children's furniture born from the entrepreneurial project of Paola, a mother who translated the needs of many modern parents into a series of ideas related to design furniture. Established in 2018, Ettomio's reality has grown through the development of several collections that include beds, and accessories: all items are inspired by children, their desire to discover the world in freedom and safety, and perfected thanks to a collective of parents and customers who adhere to some core values including "the child at the center" and the Montessori philosophy.
Ettomio evolutionary cribs: design and environmental culture
With a mission to create furniture and solutions for contemporary home spaces, Ettomio thinks of today's parents and families who pay special attention to the materials used, craftsmanship that respects the environment, and design that complements even the most demanding environments. Therefore, keeping in mind the desire to create sustainable, solid and safe products that will last, Ettomio has created a line of solutions that can transform and adapt. One example of this is the evolutionary cribs, which can accompany a child's growth into adolescence. In fact, thanks to accessories specially conceived and designed for this purpose, Ettomio provides ad hoc solutions that meet the needs of parents at the various stages of their children's lives.
Ettomio, natural and sustainable children's furniture
With the understanding that today's children will live in the world we leave them in part because of our environmental choices, Ettomio makes no compromises on the use of natural, Earth-friendly materials. From solid wood to FSC-certified plywood, from strictly water-based wood finishing to organic fabrics and mattresses with high quality standards (OEKO-TEX): every small action will help create a better world. In realizing this vision, Ettomio makes use of the 'irreplaceable short supply chain, committing to collaborate and emphasize the value of skilled Italian artisans. Indeed, in each piece of furniture, the care, passion and skills gained through decades of experience in making handmade products emerge, with the customer in mind who will use them for a long time and with satisfaction for their workmanship. A choice that rewards the precious craftsmanship of our territories and the small production realities that are the lifeblood of our socioeconomic fabric and that make Made in Italy indispensable for our parents. And it is precisely because of this special attention to its employees that Ettomio has dedicated itself to the development of a code of ethics shared with the entire production chain. A vademecum to consolidate the awareness of the social and environmental responsibility of each company involved, and to promote positive behaviors inside and outside the working realities that create healthy, non-discriminatory contexts that value each and every stakeholder.
