d line is a leading Danish design brand that specializes in producing enduring architectural hardware, sanitary ware, and solutions for barrier-free living. Their products are made from the highest quality AISI 316 stainless steel, a resilient and non-corrosive material, and have been designed by world-leading designers and architects such as Arne Jacobsen, Knud Holscher, Tom Dixon and Bjarke Ingels. Additionally, d line offers a 20-year warranty on all their items, emphasizes the use of 100% recyclable materials in their stainless steel production, and features the innovative Re-handle®, extending the product life cycle up to 100 years.

Sometimes good as new is better

d line’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond their commitment to a design that never dates. With their circular system, Re-handle®, they take in original products to be Re-handled. They fix, replace, and brush them to work good as new. With each Re-handle, they save the environment up to 90% CO2 emission and the same product can be Re-handled up to four times - each time the 20-year product warranty period is renewed, securing 100 years of use. With an asking price for a Re-handled product that is 60% lower than a newly produced item, it is straightforward to make the enduring choice and reuse instead of buying new.

Danish design since 1971

Since the beginning, d line believed that the best ideas respond to a need. This started in the 1960s when the Danish designer Knud Holscher was working under Arne Jacobsen at St Catherine’s College Oxford. It was his need for a high-quality, coordinated line of stainless steel architectural products that led him to design one. d line is designed to meet architects’ needs, so every solution that’s been produced by us is meticulous in form, function, feel, and construction. Streamlined and without fuss, yet with a smooth tactility that asks to be handled. Every detail of every d line piece is rigorously tested for seamless functioning so that it endures. This is why d line is known for being resistant to wear and tear for never needing to be bought for a purpose more than once. ... More ... less
