Since 1979 this German manufacturer has stayed true to its roots with every light 100% handmade and manufactured from scratch near its base in Munich. betec ® is a world market leader in Picture lights, and the success of its products attests to this accolade. Lettenmayer himself designed the first renowned Picture Light, Clarus. The lamp became an art object and was awarded the title Kunstschutz in 1987 by the OLG Munich. The latest edition of picture lamps, the Angulus, was awarded The Good Design Award in 2016. The popular office range the Acus Office LED desk lamp received the IF Design Award in 2014 for minimised technology, aesthetics in motion and processing.
