Aritco is an award-winning manufacturer of platform lifts and home lifts. We supply lifts for both public and private market all over the world. In 1995 four entrepreneurs founded Aritco in a living room in Kungsängen outside Stockholm. All four had experience in the lift business, and all agreed that there was a need for a new kind of product that was smarter to use and easier to install, easier to operate and significantly less expensive than the lifts that were on the market back then. The four, all engineers, built their first lift by hand. And the rest is what we say, history. After having passed through two factories in Kungsängen, Aritco is now based in a 16.000 sqm large factory and office in Veddesta outside Stockholm. Today we produce almost 4.000 lifts a year that are sold in 40 different countries through more than 170 distributors. From June 2016, Aritco is fully owned by the investment company Latour Industries, a part of the investment company Latour group. Latour is one of the largest investment companies in Sweden with a turnover of more than 5 billion SEK. With a philosophy to purchase or invest in companies to own and grow longterm. We are happy to have a new owner with great financial strength and who is willing to invest in our future.
